I’ve been looking aroundfor a woodworking forum to join and I decided to join http://lumberjocks.com/ So far, almost everyone there looks to have more experience than I do, but maybe some of that will rub off.

September 19th is International Talk Like A Pirate Day and I’m joining in. Woodworking has a long connection with pirates, what with all those wooden legs and crutches they seem to need.
And ships. They were made of wood, too.
And that apple barrel Jim Hawkins hid in, that was made of wood.
